By controlling the opening dimensions, we balance smooth liquid flow with reduced spill risk during drinking. We also fill matching cups with water to test the actual flow through the drinking opening and adjust the design when necessary. During production, we inspect the sip opening for burrs, flash, and rough edges to maintain a smooth mouth-contact area and a comfortable drinking experience.
