ProGreenPack focused on two points: rim consistency and cup-lid compatibility. Before production, we confirmed the dimensions and matching lid for each cup size. During cup forming, finished cups were sampled from the production line and the rim diameter and shape were checked against the approved specification. The approved cup and lid specifications were recorded for repeat orders, helping the distributor build a more standardized multi-size single wall paper cup range and reducing compatibility problems when restocking.

It serves as a coating, applied to the inner wall of the paper cup, to replace the traditional plastic liner.
PE is the most widely used petroleum-based plastic worldwide, which enables cups to have waterproof and leak-proof properties.
It is a new material that replaces traditional plastic films. It does not require the use of plastic materials such as PE or PLA, yet still possesses waterproof and oil-resistant properties.
Both are commonly used. Single wall coffee cups are often selected for their lower material use and more economical unit cost, especially for high-volume service. For hotter drinks, they are commonly paired with a cup sleeve. Double wall cups provide additional insulation and usually do not require a separate sleeve. The choice depends on beverage temperature, target cost, branding requirements and the desired customer experience.
For hotter beverages, a sleeve can improve hand comfort because single wall cups provide less insolation than double wall cups. If you plan to use sleeves, confirm the sleeve dimensions together with the cup size before production. The sleeve should fit securely without sliding down, squeezing the cup body or covering important printed artwork.
Choose the coating based on your market requirements. PE coating is a mature and cost-effective option for standard orders. PLA coating is commonly used for compostable packaging programs where appropriate certification and industrial composting infrastructure are available. Water-based coating is often selected by looking to reduce conventional plastic coating usage. Always confirm the actual compliance and end-of-life requirements for your target market.
